New Hire Day: the fastest way to a flying start
Last week, our HR team launched the very first New Hire Day. After a thorough onboarding, this is the perfect way for our new colleagues to truly get to know our company. Because at EnergyVision, you don’t just start a job—you become part of a warm family in a fast-growing company.
Since January 1st, we have already welcomed eleven new employees. Over the past few weeks, their teams have prepared them thoroughly to ensure a great start. But at EnergyVision, we always go the extra mile. To make their integration even smoother, our HR team organized a full day dedicated entirely to our new recruits.
The New Hire Day program was packed. Thanks to our internal ambassadors, our newcomers gained a clear understanding of why EnergyVision was founded, the core values we stand for, and why we always strive to make a difference for our customers. They also got a solid overview of how our company operates and how the different departments work together. Our CEO, Maarten Michielssens, shared with great passion how he founded EnergyVision ten years ago with limited resources, his vision, and the company’s future plans.
Mentors: always nearby
After that, our new employees met their mentors: Freddy, Tessa, Dorothée, and Flora. These experienced colleagues are there to answer any questions during their first months—and of course, beyond.
Up to the rooftops!
The highlight of the day? We saved that for the afternoon. We headed to Brussels, where our workers are pulling off quite a feat: relocating 870 solar panels from the roof of Tour & Taxis to the steep roof of Gare Maritime. Our new hires got a front-row seat to see just how challenging installation work can be.
